What’s the first step?

The first step in getting BOTOX® in the Northern Dallas area is to contact our boutique MedSpa and schedule your consultation with one of our expert technicians. During this appointment, you will be able to discuss your goals, ask questions about the treatment, and receive a personal evaluation of your skin. Once the technician can fully understand your needs and you agree with their assessment, you can either receive your BOTOX® injection that day or schedule an appointment with our Patient Coordinator.

During this consultation, you will also be asked about your medical history. It is very important, to be honest when having this discussion as it will help prevent any unnecessary or potential side effects.

What to Expect on the Day of BOTOX®

When you come into Haute Beauty Aesthetics for your BOTOX® injection, the technician may apply a topical numbing cream or use an ice pack to numb the area before the treatment. They will use a very thin needle to administer 3 – 5 injections of the botulinum toxin type A into the targeted areas.

The entire procedure will take around 10 minutes from start to finish.

What is the downtime with this treatment?

Once you are finished with your injections, you will be able to return to your normal, daily routine. You should avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying any pressure to the treated area because this could cause the filler to spread to other areas of the body, which will negatively affect your results. You should also avoid lying down or bending over for three to four hours, especially if receiving BOTOX® in your brow as this can cause it to slip under the orbital rim, creating an eyelid droop.
